I have been a Cabinet maker and musician for 21 years, and I have to say that this is a very nice Violin! The construction is good quality and the sound has a very warm tone. I did change the strings and adjusted the bridge, but that should be done anytime you buy a new instrument, no matter who the maker is. The over-all quality of this Violin would be well worth 3-4 hundred dollars, so the asking price is MORE than a great deal! I have seen a lot of posts on the internet warning about "cheap cost Violin's" and that most diffidently does NOT apply to this one. Remember there was a time when "made in Japan" was to be feared, but we all know that's not true anymore, just look at their cars. This Violin is the prefect "common man's" Violin, it's got a great sound and even better price. And lets face it... Most of us are playing for fun and not students at Guillard Music School. In short... If your looking a good Violin that won't break the bank, then this Violin is a great choice, not

Great violin, highly recommend it. I've seen one of the first chair violins of the Chicago Symphony, he has one just like it. It has a good finished flame, and the tuner pegs, tailpeice, and chinrest are great quality material. It's always nice to have good fine tuners and be sure they are NOT ALLOY. If you want to look more pro. than I suggest getting a violin case that KK music store has to offer.
