I bought through E-bay with lessons from KK. I have to say this is a great deal. I hadn't played in years and wanted to get back into it (I sold my Selmer Mk VI for a crazy $1250 twenty years ago - I should have kept it for an investment). Anyway, this is a nice sax - plays pretty well - relatively bright, decent key action. A couple of points - this came with mouthpiece, reeds, and a tuner. My advice, throw away the mouthpiece and reeds - total crap, especially for a beginner, but keep the tuner. Spend a couple of bucks on a Yamaha or Rico mouthpiece and some decent reeds - makes a huge difference. It is a beautiful instrument. The sound is great! My son uses this sax for marching band and concerts. It is easy to maintain too. He also has the gold plated version of this one.
